Do you remember the Atkins Diet?
About 15 years ago it was the most popular diet in the world.
Everyone knew someone who had lost 10, 20, or even 50 pounds on the diet.
But now it’s not nearly as popular today.
Do you know why?
Well, the main reason is that Atkins success was based on TWO scientific principles of weight loss. But most people only knew about ONE of the principles. And once that second principle was abandoned…the diet didn’t work anymore.
The principle that EVERYONE knew about was “ketosis.” That’s the fat-burning process your body kicks into when you deprive it of carbs and eat only protein and fat.
It works. If you only eat protein and fat, your body will start burning off more weight.
But the other principle that helped folks lose weight on Atkins was more of a secret. It’s called “sensory satiety.”
Eventually, your taste buds get “bored” of eating the same thing over and over. So you eat less. And that ALSO helps you lose weight.
The Atkins diet said, “Eat only fat and protein”. And eventually folks got bored eating just fat and protein, so they ate less food. Period.
Then food companies started introducing all different varieties of “Atkins-safe” foods. Atkins cereal, Atkins pudding, Atkins chocolate bars, Atkins this and Atkins that.
Suddenly all those taste buds weren’t as bored anymore and people started eating more on Atkins.
And then the Atkins diet was no longer as effective!
What does this have to do with your online success?
Well, success at anything will require you to push through the boredom phase. Becoming successful at anything will require you to do SOMETHING over and over and over again.
Unless it’s structured in a way to keep you motivated, you’ll get bored.
That’s why MTTB is structured in 21 steps. 21 bite size, daily steps.
It not only allows you to put Matt Lloyd’s “scientific principles of online success” to work for you…it also allows you to overcome the boredom or “sensory satiety” of doing the same thing over and over.
If you’ve got 30 minutes a day to finally break out of the boredom of your 9 to 5 job, here’s how to get started…
